Creating a new STAgile is very simple, we just have to choose one of the 2 available options (basic and advanced), select a file with CSV extension and press the Ok button.
In the option to select a CSV file we have two options. That we choose it from the computer (from computer) or from the Pentaho repository (from Pentaho repository).
COMMON OF BASIC AND ADVANCED
In the upper part of STAgile we will see 3 differentiated zones:
(By default the 'options' button is selected)
Title of the graphic: we are going to be able to put the name to the graphics.
Data type: we will be able to select between 'string' or 'number'.
Usage: we will be able to select the type of graph (Bar, Row, Area ...).
Top: it allows to choose the order of the graph, if we choose the option '-' they will be shown in alphabetical order. The other options are from major to minor or vice versa.
Cardinality and sample values: in this field are all the values shown in the graph.
Gama de color: You choose the color range you want for that graph.
Show/Hide icon: when you press it you are hiding/showing the graph.
Don't include in selector: if we mark it, we are disabling this option in the dashboard.
At the top, in the middle, the title will appear. Just by clicking on it you will see a text field, in which you can write the new title.
Below the previous button we see a drop-down list to filter the information, although we can also filter on the graphics (by clicking on some).
It is also possible, that after having selected a graphic, we want to return to the previous state. You have to click on the icon, that appears to the left of the filter drop-down list.
Users can adjust the size of the graphics. Just click on the lower right to adjust the height and width. Also, by clicking on it, you can drag and drop it in another position.
As in the Dashboard section, you can also change the title by clicking on it.
Also, a table with all the data of the CSV file appears.
In the first row empty fields appear to be able to filter the data of the file.
In the upper right corner there are two buttons (Export to CSV and Visible Columns), the first one allows you to download the data from that STAgile to CSV. If you have used search filters, only the data that meets the requirements of the filters will be exported.
And the second one allows you to indicate which columns you want to see and which ones they don't. If the unchecks will not be seen.
When we open an STAgile in a basic way, the visual aspect is as follows:
After modifying the desired, you can return to the starting point by clicking on the 'Restore by Default' button.
When we open an STAgile in a basic way, the visual aspect is the following:
As you can see there are more paragraphs than in the basic, which we will explain below.
If we click on the icon '+' (image above) a new section will be created (image below) in the lower part of our STAgile.
PS: If you create a new one, you will have to fill in the x-axis field, because otherwise you will not be able to go to the dashboard or the data in the table.
As you can see in the image below, you must choose what information you want on the x axis and on the y axis.
Los otros apaThe other sections are specified in the common options of basic and advanced (options).
If you click on this button, the corresponding graph is immediately deleted.
